Experience:

A narrative-driven VR experience set in a 16th-century Udaipur palace courtyard. Step into the role of a retired warrior turned perfume maker, prepare traditional perfumes in the courtyard, and sell your creations to the princess through an immersive journey into Rajput heritage.

Why VR? -

VR allowed me to recreate a historical palace environment as an experience rather than just a visual reconstruction. It gave users the freedom to explore the space, interact with its objects, and experience the atmosphere of the palace from within.

Instead of simply looking at history, the project lets users step into it.

Mechnism:

Built in Unity for VR, the experience uses spatial interactions to bring the palace courtyard to life. Users can pick up perfume bottles, interact with objects, activate the fountain, and explore the environment using VR controllers. Blender-made assets and environmental effects create an immersive setting for preparing and selling perfume to the princess.

Mechnism:

This was my first VR world, where I learned to build an environment from the ground up and bring it to life through spatial interactions. From modelling assets in Blender to implementing interactions in Unity, the project helped me understand how environments can support storytelling and create a sense of presence. With more time, I would refine the interactions and expand the world to make the experience more engaging.
